Soft Tank Tunic
A feminine a-line shape tank-tunic with sweet lace in both, front and back, a detailed neckline with a bit of positive ease make for a lovely top that can be worn over a tank, camisole, long sleeve T-shirt or a pretty blouse.
This pattern was inspired by a lovely lady who liked my Soft Tee wanting the same detail, only in a tank top.
For bust sizes 36” (38/40/42/44/46”) (48/50/52/54/56”).

Yarn:
2 skeins (sizes 36 — 48)/3 skeins (sizes 50 — 56) of Pima cotton by Yarn Carnival in a fingering weight (437 yards/100 grams a skein) Knit Kits are available at

Alternatively use a fingering weight yarn, preferably cotton.

Notions:
US size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle 36” (90 cm) in length Stitch markers
Darning needle
Scrap yarn or stitch holder
Gauge:
24 sts and 29 rows in 4” (10 cm) knitted in Stockinette stitch, unblocked 22 sts and 26 rows in 4” (10 cm) knitted in Stockinette stitch, blocked
Level of Expertise: Intermediate
Techniques:
Knit, purl, lace with yarn overs, increases and decreases, knitting in the round, stretchy bind off.
